On July 20, 2022 we are opening our facility to individuals interested in learning more about a career with Nucor as a Drafter/Modeler. Our growing need for Drafter/Modelers has created this unique opportunity for anyone interested in a new career with Nucor. Our previous Career events have provided over 50 new teammates the training and skills to successfully be hired as a Drafter/Modeler. Each of them started by visiting one of our Open House Career Events, and then progressed through the On-Site Training program. This program is designed specifically to train individuals with little or no prior drafting experience. While the prior work experience of these teammates varied greatly, what they had in common was a desire to enter into a rewarding career with a stable company in order to improve the quality of their family's lifestyle.
