At selected times during the year Nucor Detailing Center hosts an Open House Career Fair. Individuals interested in pursuing a career change can tour our facility and interact with our teammates while learning more about the Career Opportunities available. It is from these Open Houses that we provide a path into our On-Site Training Program and ultimately to a rewarding career as a Nucor Drafter/Modeler. This program has been instrumental in the successful training and hiring of new teammates over the past 2 years, all of whom did not have a degree in Drafting or comparable work experience.
